Hi 👋🏻 denze’s digest is weekly-ish series I’m experimenting with. In it, I curate and share the most interesting and useful crypto content I’ve consumed recently
Exploring what will be possible when businesses are more “wallet-aware” and know what crypto assets we hold
Tokengated Commerce by Packy McCormick & Alex Danco. Alex Danco works at Shopfy, building out their crypto capabilities. He shares super interesting insights on how NFTs let us “fit in and stand out”, how they’ll impact commerce and why they're necessary for enabling better and more efficient brand collaborations. As with most Not Boring articles, it’s long at ~7000 words, but is structured as an interview which makes it quite easy to get through.
A fun read for a bit of NFT history
The 10,000 Faces That Launched an NFT Revolution by Sandra Upson. CryptoPunks are one of the early NFT collections, which are now seen by the market to be historically significant. This may be one of the best pieces I’ve read telling the story of how they came to life and the impact they’ve had. What I enjoyed most was Sandra giving a peek into the impact the Punks had on the lives of some of their collectors. It’s another long read, at ~7500 words.
A project to keep an eye on: Layer3
Layer3: The Future Of Work In Web3 🔨. I’ve mentioned Layer3 in previous articles before. They’re a talent marketplace connecting web3 communities with contributors. This is a good read on what Layer3 is, and why it’s being built. I’ve recently started using the platform to do some writing tasks, and I’m quite excited by what it can become. If the future of work is going to be more flexible, and if web3 communities want to leverage the talent within their networks, then Layer3 could play an important role.
